Flow is a shelf bracket that combines structural function with sculptural form. Cast from solid aluminum, its flowing geometry is inspired by the transition of metal from liquid to solid.

The Goal:
I wanted to rethink the traditional shelf bracket as more than a purely functional component. The aim was to create a structure that feels almost impossible while still providing reliable support.

The Challenge:
The challenge was balancing the expressive form with the structural requirements of a working bracket. I developed several iterations, gradually optimizing the thickness for stability while integrating the screws into the design.

The Result
The finished bracket combines structural stability with a fluid, sculptural form. Its reflective aluminum surface emphasizes the curves and makes the transition from liquid-inspired geometry to solid material tangible.
